Questions
Furnace Repair FAQ
Why does my furnace keep shutting off?
Common causes are a dirty flame sensor, a clogged filter causing overheating, or a venting/pressure-switch issue. All are worth having checked rather than resetting repeatedly.
Is it safe to run a furnace that smells?
A light dust smell on the first cold day is normal. A gas smell is not: leave the home and call your gas utility from outside.
